Labor Day Weekend

Evie and I headed to California for Labor Day weekend. This was her first plane ride. She did awesome on the way there... she slept for two of the three hours. It was so sweet to hold her while she was sleeping, she is definitely not one to cuddle usually. On the way back she fought sleeping for an hour before finally giving in.

Our time in California was wonderful. It was great to get back and see family and friends.

We bought Evie a tent to sleep in, instead of a pack n' play. It was so cute!

Uncle Chris and Aunt Barbra cooked a wonderful brunch for the family.

We went to an art festival in the red woods, and Karen (my non biological mother) spun wool on a spinning wheel.

This is what the art festival looked like, so beautiful.

I had an Evie on my back.

Grammy feeding me breakfast.

Fog rolling in over the mountains.

There were hand made leather masks at the art festival, and I made my mom and Karen put them on.

Uncle Mike and Aunt Marilyn with Evie at the beach.

Our first trip, hopefully one of many, to the beach.

Evie loved to play with the pebbles, she tried to eat them too.

We looked through the tide pools to find sea creatures.

Evie kept sucking her thumb, so we all started to suck ours.

Danielle, my non biolgical sister, meeting Evie.

This is the park Nick and I grew up playing at. We have several pictures of us playing in the same plane.

...and we used to play on the same fire engine.
