Christmas

Christmas was fun this year, and I'm sure it will only become more so as Little Miss grows up.
Surprisingly, Evie never even tried to attack the Christmas Tree. She was, however, obsessed with a bowl of ornaments and constantly made a bee-line to grab one.

Little Miss was SPOILED by her grandparents! :)
Christmas Eve was spent with G, NannaD, AuntE, Uncle Jason and Aunt Laura, and Grandpa.

Christmas day we spent the day with Grammy, Grandmother and Uncle Nick.

And the day after Christmas was spent with Cappy, GJ and Uncle Nick.

Here comes trouble!

Evie started walking a few weeks after her first birthday. She learned how to walk before she learned how to stand on her own... this lead her to walk at full speed until someone caught her, or more often, until she feel flat on her face! It was so fun to watch her concentrate so hard, and be so proud of herself.

1st Birthday!

Evie turned one on December 7th... a day that will forever live in infamy... but also a day that will always be remembered as the day our family went from two to three. Little Miss may have had a dramatic entrance into the world, but she has been an angel ever since. It has been a joy to mother such a sweet little lady over the past 12 months and I look forward to the next 17 years, Lord willing.

We celebrated her birthday with family and a few friends. Here are some pics of the day!

Kiss!

Umm... I don't think so (not a fan of cake)

Here! You eat it instead!!

Happy Halloween

We took Evie to a pumkin patch at a church near by... she was precious discovering all the new sights and textures. She had TONS of fun handing us the baby pumpkins, pushing pumpkins over and trying to pick them up! Here are a few pictures from the patch...

Evie's nick-name is punkin (or punk-a-dunk) so naturally we dressed her up as a pumpkin for her first Halloween. It was pretty warm when we first put her in the outfit, but eventually we were able to put on the adorable tights.

Uncle Nick is a Quarter of Century!

Nick turned 25 on September 17th. He is officaly in a new age category... mid to late 20s.
Welcome to old age... He's already complaining of sore knees ;)

Can I please have your glasses?

We tried to get a family pic... there was something goofy in each one... this is the best we could do :)

Everyone is smiling... and my mom is snapping?

So Proud of Daddy!

Brian played the Northern Texas PGA Championship, back in September.
AND HE WON!!!

I was so proud of him!
He was able to over come some big hurdles, with hard work and diligence, and it all paid off!

The win was especially sweet because we found out we were going to have to have piers installed to fix our foundation (welcome to home ownership in Texas). We were able to use his winnings to pay for the piers.
Our original quote for the piers was $7,326... and he won $7,300.

The Lord promises to provide for us, and we didn't doubt that He would, but He really blessed us!!!

The card on the couch is an exemption to play at the Byron Nelson next May... a PGA event!

So proud of my daddy!

Shinny...

Mine?
